Entrance Requirements for Pharmacy Majors that You Must Know – Admission to the Pharmacy major in college requires a good understanding of the necessary requirements, as this is an important first step towards a professional career in pharmacy. 1. Academic Requirements
a. High school/vocational school graduate or equivalent
- Prospective students must graduate from a Senior High School (SMA) or equivalent, such as a Vocational High School (SMK) with a relevant program.
The average report card score required may vary depending on the university you are going to. Usually, the minimum required average report card score is around 7.00 or 70% of the applicable grade scale.
b. Passing the national exam

- Photocopy of high school/vocational diploma or equivalent.
- Photocopy of high school/vocational school report card or equivalent.
- Photocopy of proof of passing the national exam (UN) or equivalent.

c. Registration fee

3. Entry Selection
a. Academic Potential Test (TPA)
- Most universities hold the TPA exam as one of the entry requirements. TPA is used to measure prospective students’ academic abilities in the fields of Mathematics, Indonesian and general knowledge.
b. Written Exam
- Many colleges also hold written exams covering subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
